About Dana

The Norwood Park Artists Guild & Studios, Chicago, IL-owner (sold). The studio produced artwork to be
shown in galleries, as well as workshops and classes in fine art. Nash also hosted individual and organizational
art shows and television productions at the studios. Dana illustrated automobiles for Hot Rod Publications.
Funny Car owner, Don Purdhome, drag racer, Don Garlits; as well as, Indy racer Gary Bettenhausen had their car
portraits done by Nash in the 1970’s. Murals were a specialty for Dana in the 70’s, painting scenery in the McCormick Building on
Michigan Avenue and later painting murals in the Tampa, Florida hotels. Later years murals were painted in private homes around the Chicago area.

Nash received a B.A. from the Art Institute of Chicago, studies included but not limited to:
Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, The American Academy of Fine Arts and The Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts in Chicago.
